Introducing the FBC Podcast
As a ministry to those that are technology-savvy, Fort Madison First Baptist Church now offers the FBC Podcast.  It's a free broadcast that we've created in order to share the life-changing sermons our local congregation have the opportunity to hear live.

Not familiar with podcasting?  For starters, it's NOT just for iPods...
Even though the term "podcasting" invokes images of those fancy MP3 players from Apple, podcasts can be used on ANY MP3 player - or any computer, for that matter.  Here are a few starter's tips:

(1)  Download and install Juice.  Developed to be a cross-platform podcast client, Juice is small, easy to set up and use, and FREE!  Of course, there are dozens of other software applications that do essentially the same thing.  If you have iTunes or another application, feel free to use it - we're now listed in the Podcast Directory on iTunes!

(2)  Set up Juice to download the FBC Podcast.  On the Subscriptions tab, click on the "Add new feed" icon (green circle with white "plus sign").  Enter the following URL in that field (you can copy and paste for ease):

http://www.fortmadisonfirstbaptist.org/podcasts/podcasts.xml

(3)  Transfer the file to your MP3 player.  Most MP3 players show up as a Removable Drive in My Computer.  Simply drag the individual podcasts or the entire folder to the icon representing your player.  You can find the files in My Documents, under FBC Podcast (or whatever you wish) in the My Received Podcasts folder.
